Looks like a heavy duty bedding project to me.Even if you fix it,it's still going to be phugged up.I think I'd invest elsewhere.

That has been modified to fit a Rem 725 with the rotating safety behind the bolt. I need a 725 stock, but not this one!

What is that grit on the stock? Road salt and tar?

I would not take it for nothing. Its too big to burn in the stove without cutting it in half!
