You didn't happen to stumble into the Busch Beer with the orange boxes like I did tonight? It must be getting close to hunting season.

I didn't really get out much, the class was for a state real estate license, and they really kept to the 1 hour lunch break, and 5 minute breaks. Lots of reading in the evenings, so I only made it out one night for supper. I did have to find a liquor store one night, and it took me over an hour to get my beer. I think I am better off away from the cities, to many people.

I brought beer with me to the hotel, but I ran out and needed to re-supply.

Do you get to head out to Chickenbuck this weekend ND? i got it off for the most part and may be taking a ranger ride out that direction.
It is a silly fish that is caught twice with the same bait!

Really looking forward to a Chickenbuck weekend. Get something figured out. I think I only have plans for the weekend of Oct. 7th & 8th. It is our annual Mall trip.
I am out of order until further notice. My "stupid people" filter needs cleaning and my "give a damn" batteries have run out.

I wish I could make it, I have every weekend booked until mid november, and even then I am redoing floors in the house. A lady is Dangerous when you give her a pass to redecorate and then take her to home depot! good news is we found tiles we like for .65 a sq ft so that helps. but when she says "since we're redoing the bathroom floor how about a new shower and vanity....." don't get me started on the kitchen! but its great, I like what we have planned for the new place. we couldn't have decided to start at a worse time of year though. good news is I have 5 deer tags burning a hole in my pocket I agree skip the mall muffy

Yep, them wimmins can get your "to do" list long in a hurry. When I finished the basement in my WI house, tile was the cheapest finish for the floors by a good margin. I was surprised. Pleasnatly though, it changed the way I finished a few rooms and it looked great. Kind fun too, if ya don't do it durring hunting season.

Linda and I are about to embark on a gut and complete re-do of our kitchen after several months of planning and getting quotes. My small office with the computer goes away and we moved the computer to a spare bedroom yesterday. The new appliances are sitting in the garage having been delivered the other day.Demo will start in about a week and I know it'll be a mess for awhile. As Colorado said above a lady is dangerous when you give her a pass to redecorate.I did manage to slip in a complete new energy efficient replacement of the 25 year old heating and air conditioning units. This is one of the gas pack units with nothing in the crawl space. It all comes out and the complete new unit sits outside.Of course we will be eating nothing but Ramen noodles for the next few years but we will be eating them in a new kitchen. Seriously it's gonna be nice. Muzzle loading deer season starts in a couple of weeks.I shot the .54 New Englander last week.We had one of the tracts planted in a deer attractant weeks ago.It ought to be coming along good. The .44 pistol is ready to go as is the old lever action.I'm getting excited.

Good luck with the remodel Stan. We replaced all the windows and siding this year. Judy has plans for the kitchen, but that will have to wait a bit. What a differnece a day makes. We were pushing 90* here on Monday. Today may get to 65* and we'll be lucky to see 55* on Wednesday. We are under a freeze warning for the next 3 nights. Weather dude even used the "S" word. Looks like they might see snow flurries East of Dave, and in NW WI.

this is WAY too early to be talking snow. although now that I live in the banana belt of South Dakota, ya'll can say the S word whenever you want we won't see any of the white stuff til december likely. our big snows come in march I guess with one or two big heavy snowfalls. we were in the mid/upper 80's yeasterday and they are calling for a high of 55 tomorrow, not sure what the night will bring but there were warnings to cover plants you didn't want to die. Fall is in the air! Stan- I'll be sure to take some pics as we do the project, would love to see yours as well
