Last year Marlin came out with the stainless LTD in .41 Magnum. My dealer just got a call yesterday from his rep at Davidson's stating that the next gun in the series was about to be released. It will be in .357 Magnum.
The rep also told him that dealers who bought the .41 LTDs will be able to reserve the same serial number in .357 Magnum....and later in .44 magnum and .45 Colt.
So if you want a nice little carbine in .357 Magnum or to complete your set better find a dealer who deals with Davidson's now. The .41 LTD were sold out before the final guns were delivered from the factory.

Maybe a dumb question, but what is the LTD?
Do you have a link or picture.
I see you have .45 Colt listed. I've been thinking about something like a 1894 in 45 Colt if they make it or have made it.

LTD = Limited series

Marlin does this occasionally with Davidsons, a large distributor. I believe the series in 41 magnum was a stainless model with a black/gray laminate stock in the guide gun configuration (ie straight grip, no barrel bands). This has almost always been an unannounced offering. By the time you hear of it, they are usually sold out and only rarely do they surface on the used market.
