Bought new last year only out to spot for target shooting a few times, has the wide angle eye piece (Great Field of view) this is the brighest/clearest optics ever, can remove the cover if needed for more photos,but was put on right after I got it $2550 shipped and insured

Have the same scope and have used it for multiple sheep and goat hunts. My tactic with guides is I'll tote it the first day and let the guide 'try' it. The next morning I'll say something like it's a little big for my backpack. The guides (everyone of them) begs to carry it. So we have the best scope on the market and I never have to carry it!
Good luck with your sale. Sorry you're parting with it though.

Post more pics, you must have kept. the box. Take the cover off the scope, and the model # must be specific. Need more info? the STS is the alum. model. the STM is newer, lighter and is magnesium bodied.

Is this the Magnesium model ?? How can I tell what one it is? Take off the eyepiece and look at the markings on the housing. Should say STS 80 HD or STM 80 HD. STM is magnesium, STS is aluminum, I believe.
