in my rifle, my old balistic tip combos did not get the same accuracy using the accubonds so i had to develop new loads, i'm using the 140gr accubond with 65.5 gr of reloader 19. compared to the old load of 66gr of imr4831 with the 140gr balistic tip. the nosler book is listing the starting load as 59gr of imr4831 for the 160gr and max as 63gr of imr4831 for the 160gr

Yeah, I called nosler and asked for the load data. Suppose to be same as the partitiion bullet in that weight. I was hoping to find someone who reloads the round and has experience with what was found the best load.

i have used two on deer, in the 140gr 7mm. and they work great. balistic tip entry wound and internal damage with partition penitration and exit wound.

Doubt if it helps, but I am just getting underway with my new Model 70 7 mm Mag. I did not bother trying 4831 yet, but will list my other loads if you care. I can say that I am pretty dissapointed with the velocities. Most books list test barrels of 24". I figured with a 26" I be easily over the book speeds. Not so, not even close really.

All loads are with Hornady 162 SPBT Interlocks seated off the lands -.010" with Fed 215GM's in WW cases.

In the two days I've had the rifle and between tweaking sessions, the RL -22 has shown the best accuracy, but I was really looking for quite a bit more out of the 160 class bullets. I'll try some Accubonds soon, but wanted some cheap bullets to break in the barrel with and just do some shooting. Good luck

Please God, give me some good tags this year....

My Chrono has shed much light on my reloading notions.

What is the max. load for RL 22 with the 162 Interlocks?
