Can't remember off hand, I either have a Sthil 260 or 290. It cuts more than it should and is light enough to carry in the woods for cleaning up trails and shooting lanes.
I think I paid $325-350 about 6 years ago.
The next one will be considerable bigger though, there really is no comparison to the bigger CC/higher HP saws. They barely break a sweat for even what I'd call medium sized stuff.

It was a blast. I won a couple bucks on Craps and Roulette. Total, it was a couple hundred. Mama didn't do so hot, she was down a bit but she thinks it's about even, maybe ahead a few bucks. Neither one of are big gamblers. We each took $100 for gambling. I was down $95 last night, and hit a hot streak on the Craps table. When I started to get, the dealer looked at me and said " it's good to remember when to pull your money." Soon after, I lost a few hands and pulled my chips, thanked him, and threw him a couple chips. We also watched a guy loose around $1500 in less than 2 minutes. The casino held Craps lessons on Monday AM so we went and tried to learn a bit. I had no interest at first, but Betsy convinced me to go, and now I'm glad I did. It was HOT,HOT,HOT. Saturday and Sunday it was 95, Monday was 98 and today was supposed to be 99, and stay that way the rest of the week. It was nice to come back to 70* I'll post some pictures later.

There's a lot of pink meat where it just used to be pale Daddy leg. I took 5 of the last 6 stitches out myself Saturday morning with a pair of fly tying scissors and tweezers. Sitting there about 0600 with a cup of coffee ripping out stitches. I had the bright idea I'd save the last one for my kid. Woke him up all bleary eyed and told him to grip the stitch with the tweezers - said I was having trouble with the last one. I cut one thread and told him to tug gently. Of course the stitch came out smooth, with a little tickle, but I jumped up screamed "What the F** Damn. Crap the bed that burns". Faked a little cry and everything. Poor guy looked like he was going to puke while I busted out laughing. Sucks to be my son. That's all I can say 4

Yeah stitches usually glide out pretty smooth but if he didn't know... yeah that's damn funny LOL! If that scar don't stay pink for ever it will be at least a decade before it gets a fleshy tone. But it's gonna be an awesome scar for the rest of your life for sure. And chicks dig scars, congrats!

Got me beat. The most I've ever had was 5.
Some of our stand names are:
Kelly's Hill Kelly's Stump Fort Apache Fort Balsam The Annex Beer Can Ridge The Landing
The rest of the stands are unnamed.

When you coming up Tzone? the next weekend? We may have to try to get to chickenbuck. Going to be on the big lake for a couple days fishing the next weekend too.
It is a silly fish that is caught twice with the same bait!

The one and only time I had them was last year when I damn near cut the top of my finger off. It was 4 stitches, so 18 is no joke. Stands where I'm hunting this gun season: these were named by my buddy, me, and his dad about 18 years ago (jeeze, I'm getting old ) Pecker stand Fort Sleeper stand Trail stand I'm hoping to add a few more this weekend.

If you don't delete them ZING! POW! BIFF! Some of them I probably should delete. I no longer have that camera. It was crap to start with and that little incident put it over the top. The quickest way to get rid of something breakable is to give it to a 6 year old boy. I don't think it lasted 2 hours.

Stan in SC
The more I listen,the more I hear....and vice versa.

If you have to take a second shot then you probably shouldn't have taken the first shot.

Well, him and I have been working together in the evenings on stuff around home. The big kids have sports activities after school so I don't see the middle kid (rund with scissors) until 6PM or later most nights. I don't see cries like baby some nights at all as she has swim practice right after school then either work or an out of town swim meet. Last night she was home just before 11PM. (worked last night after practice) So, little PWM rides the school bus home. Then him and I work around home picking the tomatoes, cleaning up the yard, he helped be finish a wood shed we built... Last week him and I hopped in the truck and drove out to camp to check the trail camera and pick up a few items we needed to finish our wood shed at home. While we were out there we checked the hand pumped well which worked perfectly, he climbed up into his mom's deer stand "to see if it was ok" and we set up my old flash cam over a mineral block. We play wi quite often while the rest of the family is out doing their thing. I can beat him at golf but he's quite a bowler. He bowled a strike from the toilet once, kind of like the blind "pinball wizzard". I believe he won that game. He loves shooting the .22, his godfather gave him a spinner target for his birthday this year. He would sit there shucking rimfires in and out of that single shot marlin from sunrise to sunset if you let him. Dusty gave him a brick of remington thunderbolts to add to his stash of ammunition so he should be covered for quite a while with his single shot rifle.
Something clever here.
