It does have a bolt guys....lol.

Awhile back on a Cabelas Club Member sale, I caught a great deal on a new Trijicon AccuPoint 3x9x40 Crosshair Amber Dot scope. Now I know just the rifle to put it on.

Got a few but i'll tell you about my favourite. Nothing special about it, just an early 90's SS Classic in .270 Winchester. It's had a number of scopes over the years but currently wears a Zeiss Conquest 3-9x40 in Talley LW's. It's the rifle I take when things are gonna be rough like chasing pigs through bush on the quad.

I spent a bit of time in Australia's Northern Territory this year & this is the rifle I took. Dust, mud, blood, water, wasn't cleaned for over a week at a time & functioned perfectly which is exactly why I love my Winchesters!!!

Anyway. I'll let a few pics tell the rest of the tale.

Just received photos of the Jack O'Connor Tribute I ordered awhile back. After seeing about 20 of these, I'm pretty pleased. I actually got lucky getting one sight unseen that I probably would have picked myself if I saw it. Nice grain/fiddle on both side and nice contrasts to the wood.

Shot all 3 of these to fill my last 3 antler less whitetail tags during the last hour of our deer/elk season.

Nice wood on that 06'. Those 2008 limited edition guns are nice.

My left-handed Model 70 stainless:

[Linked Image]

A gone (but not forgotten) push-feed Wal-Fart Black Shadow Model 70 in .270 WCF. I added an H-S Precision stock picked up on sale at the now-defunct local Sportsman's Warehouse along with Williams bottom metal and a metal factory follower and new magazine spring. Trigger was reground and worked over by Simmons Gun Repair. It was heavy, but shot great.

Even though I'm left-handed, I'm thinking more and more about getting a good pre-64 Model 70.

I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass. And I'm all out of bubblegum.

I know a terrible picture but we've all seen what a standard grade M70 looks like but the interesting thing about this one is that it's a standard grade 358Win without sights or sight dovetail cut. The only 358's Winchester ever listed were Featherwieghts.

Nice reelman. The dog knot looks a bit odd without a rear sight or filler in it.

Here's another one of mine. This one is a transition era 257 Super Grade Carbine.
