Okay, if we are going to have this forum, lets see some great shotguns b/c we know that Savage really built the best rifles of the time.... how about an early 16 gauge model 21... not the best photo

Drew... I don't know... haven't we learned from the Savage site that shotguns aren't collectable? Nice hunter you have there

Very nice. Do any ever get shot? Yea, there are very few guns I wont shoot. The 21 ordered by Olin is one I have'nt shot. Have been tempted to shoot a round of skeet with it.

Well done.
If you know off the top, what is the approximate average weight of the 20s?

Awesome collection Cartod! "West By God" truly has some sleepers . If you are ever in the Moundsville area there are some in our club who would like to see those in action!

Early field model (1934), but it still hunts, 12 gauge, 26", CYL & CYL.

I think around 6.5 lbs. for 20 and at least another lb. for 12ga. depending on barrel length.

I knew you would be good for a few... there are others sneaking around here with some 21s... maybe they just have not found the forum yet... Early field model (1934), but it still hunts, 12 gauge, 26", CYL & CYL. Odessa, Very nice! The grip looks really long on that gun though it could just be the angle. Are those early season pheasants? I would imagine shooting late season birds with cyl and cyl might prove to be some challenge.

John - and the one for 37 G's is probably just a shooter Seriously, if you want to collect these, go for the .410's and 28 gauges
