Thanks boltman, Ive been collecting for about 30 years and have a modest collection of some fairly nice Winnys. Nothing like some of the collectors out there. Once this thread gets rolling some more I will post another picture. Mertz guns has some very nice original 1885's shown on his web page.

How about a .225 with some engraving and gold inlays? 1885's aren't really my cup of tea, I got this one in a trade, so it's for sale if anybody is interested.

I had a couple of 1885's one was a presentation schuetzen rifle with a half round,barrel ,no 3 in 32-40, and the other is just a winder musket. I traded the 32-40 for a real nice 1876 rifle i still got the little winder . Don
