Thanks man, I have ate squirrel in the past and I'm with the taste, usually it's just fried, or slow cooked, and sometimes made into a gravy. Barbecued isn't bad. I found an older gentleman who can no longer hunt but loves the taste. So I shoot them and he takes them. No headshots... He eats the brain.... I've never been that hungry lol

I just ordered a standard Savage HM2. I can't wait to snipe some squirrels. Nice shooting.

I'm a PA guy too so not until this saturday. However I don't think I'm going to make it out b/c I am having my wisdom teeth removed on friday. All four and they are all impacted.
Enjoy the hunt while it lasts!

Hey Pugs, who made your knife? Was it Randy Lee? I'm in FL visting my folks right now so don't have it with me to check but it was made by a Navajo in Shiprock NM, home of my sister in law who's maiden name was Lee so perhaps. Myt brother gave it to me one year and it's a perfect shape and thickness for most everything I do.
