OP dennisinaz Campfire Outfitter D Joined: Dec 2002 Posts: 13,104 Kodiak & AZ	A few pics from elk camp this month. All were from East-central Arizona. Camp was at 9300' Camp as view from the middle of our meadow. Important element of any elk camp! Inside the eating tent- yeh, I know, we were really roughing it. Fresh cinnamon rolls every morning and fresh bread rolls every night! One of the meadows where we found elk every day We never saw 70 the entire 2 1/2 weeks. Was a nice reprieve from home, where it was frequently over 100! NRA Benefactor Member Those who live by the sword get shot by those who don't.

You can hang in the Ponderosa pines or drop down just a bit to the pinon-juniper country. Awesome area. Good old hunting buddy of mine lives in Payson... sends me video periodically of elk bedded in his front yard just to pizz me off... If you're fixin' to put a hole in something, make it a hole to remember.

I hunted unit 7E north of Flagstaff a few years ago and it was simply awesome. I've spent alot of time in the Phoenix area and enjoy that as well. LOTS of diversity in the state. That camp is outrageous! lol
