I have to shoot my .243 and sight in my .35 Rem. One on them may get the nod. wink

The only filming may be with a picture taker though.

I'm having a hard time getting fired up about deer season right now. I'm sure the 80 degree weather has a lot to do with it.

Too darn warm and windy today to head to the range. Leaves should realy be dropping this weekend.

GASP! Bill, Bill, Bill. shocked That is almost blasphemy on this board or for anywhere in the USA for that matter. I think it must have been a slip of the tongue (fingers) on your part! Any more comments like that and you are going to have to give up your Man Card for a few days.

Here is a good example of what it is like to have little boys:

The boys and Mrs Berettaman made a HUGE leaf pile yesterday or the day before. Last nite, I asked Wyatt where his other shoe was (it is a camo Croc). His response?

"I can't find it Dad, it is in the leaf pile!" Unbelievably, I found it.

It is wierd to sit at the computer and watch the leaves fall by the truck load when it's 75* already. The clouds are coming in, so I'll be surprised if we hit 80 today.

I hear ya Bill, tough to get the real fire going, but if it's 99* on opening morning, I'll still be there.

I have one kid that wants to rake leaves into a pile and jump in them and one kid that keeps begging to "fire up the leaf blower."

Just blow tom! Lots of wind up here today, that 80's can stay away now. lots of fires happening and its dry. I had a guy light up my crp the other morning. We've had a lot of issues with the guy and it doesn't get any better. lucky for me i was leaving for work early and seen it, my neighbors had a 1000 gal water tank ready to go at their farm so they come help me put it out. saved the deerstands! take care and get better.

The top left corner of this link is the Juneberry 3 fire as of yesterday.

http://ge.ssec.wisc.edu/modis-today...true&sector=USA3&resolution=250m

Lots of resources up that way now. Deep swamp where the track machines & goats are even having a hard time getting around.

I hear a couple Black Hawk choppers were heading up there this morning.

May have to click the "previous day" button to get the correct pic from Oct. 6???

Wooo hooo. My luck is starting to come around.

I picked up a case of High Life bottles...yes, 24 beerz, for $12.50. I'm 1/2 tempted to go back and get another for next week already.

It was only $2 more than Betsy's coors light, 12 pack.

They didn't have camo cans yet, or I wouldn't have even seen the bottles.

Wind is dangerous up here. Power is out, got a lantern going in the kitchen. This is not good for the juneberry fires that are moving up into canada. Not good at all. Fire + this kind of wind, be on you toes my Canuker friends.
