And my brother killed him yesterday evening. I received the pics this afternoon. He green scored 159 2/8 gross and 156 4/8 net. The current state record is 152 and change, I believe. A very nice buck, but me thinks the #1 is a fair bit bigger than 150's...not knocking your buck at all though.
Tell us the story, we need more details.
Guided or unguided? The buck is either really full, sitting at a weirdo angle or a bit bloated?

Mark-- I stand corrected, the state record ARCHERY typical Whitetail in Wyoming is 153 6/8, according to the 2004-2005 Whitetail Forecast on the ESPN website. I was thinking it was 152, but I don't think it will matter in 60 days... <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
He had been watching the buck all summer, and killed him on the ranch that he manages west of Laramie, WY. He and his partner set up a blind two days ago and caught the buck coming out to feed on the hayfields at the ranch just before dark. He made a 35 yard shot and the buck went just under 200 yards before going down. He has most of the hunt on video, but the buck was really nervous around the blind and they kept the camera down below the window to avoid reflections.
