Or does it...forcast is calling for 50-60mph gusts and high winds thru the weekend....my open a day or two latter for me...

Have my gear all set and packed I wake early so I'll let the pooch out and assess the situation....if I go I go if not no sweat things are still a couple weeks out before they heat up

Yep opened 10/6 it's in Henrietta at the sight of the old Roadhouse on Jefferson Rd...should be the same great BBQ but with live entertainment...will report back

Well for some us it was Oct 1 and for those with a valid tag it was Sept 27, but I get the drift. I have wed-sun of next week off and I would like to expend at least one of my tags.

Miss NY bow season... I think it's the best kept deer secret I've seen... My success rarely happend before the 1st weekend in Nov... I give it my best shot retired here in NC, but nothing is like Nov 1 - 15 in NY!

gonna pass myself this morning,getting some good gusts,rain is comming also,usually dont get excited till halloween,maybe it will lay down a little later,never much fun20' up in a tree with 40 -50 mph winds

Wind wasn't too bad, rain got heavy but I saw 15 doe could have killed 6 but no horn this AM

Back in the woods just settled in my tree put up my umbrella pouring rain and windy..... Wasn't gonna hunt this afternoon but power went out at the house so rather sit in the rain and wind than stare at the walls
