Home building and the like is slacking lately, I've managed to stay pretty busy but not busy enough. I heard of a top dollar deal last week. A big contractor, who is an old friend, called me up and made me a sweet deal -- guess I'll give it a try. Laying block and brick 8,000 ft under the ground here ...

Might be a pretty good gig even with corps of engineers hawking ya. 8 hours a day?

They're gonna train me a week before I can even go underground. But with winter coming on they tell me it is always 75 degrees down there even when it's blizzarding up on top.

And as soon as I break Deadwood, a few miles away, I'm retiring anyways! LOL

That'd be nice. Clear bubbles for me, are easier to see than green ones under the lights. Good luck

Darn mine are all green, but I'm 'bout due for a new one -- guess I'll try a clear.

Luck to you, Bud. I'm staying above ground, even tho the temp is dropping.

It's the thinly covered water up here....

Jeez I was just up there the 17th for my dad's 94th birthday (He's at Michal Manor) but I didn't stick around long -- you'll have to pm me you're phone number again. I lost my old phone and all the numbers in it, and next time I'm up there I'll give ya a holler.

I suppose Government work is better than no work, but it is still Government work. Thank those of us who will be paying you.

I'll thank myself since I pay taxes too, more than my share at that, while actually producing something.

Not many today produce anything. You have every right to be proud of the work of your hands.

Nothing against hard work and getting paid well for it, but why is it the Central Governments business to hunt for neutrinos?

If you want to find a neutrino pay for it yourself not with my tax dollar.
