I have a bunch of the sabots and the tool to seat your 22 bullets. Free to a good home. +1 I bought a bunch of the sabots in 30/22 caliber and the seating tool. Never could get my handloads to group any better than my shotguns. Mine are free to good home too.

Rem 660, Rem Nylon 11 &12, rem 798, 6.5 Rem mag, 223 WSSM, 45 GAP, 7x30 Waters were all flops just to name a few. I liked my Nylon 11 very much and wish I still had it.

Mossberg has made several flop centerfires. Their earlier 30-30 lever, and the ss1 single shot, they made a crap auto loader as well if I recall right. Their earlier 22 lever, I had one, took 2 fingers to pull the trigger. What about the street sweeper shotgun? Any bolt action shotgun except the Browning A-bolt one, I can see where that served a use. The Flobert 22's. The under-lever muzzle loaders.

How about the S&W Model 53 revolver in .22 Jet. could never solve the problem of set-back when fired......or find a reason foe the use of the round if you could.

Revolver silencer won't be at the top but should rate in the top 50... Is there any revolver except the 1895 Nagant that can work with a silencer? Don't know if you can call something as mass produced as the 1895 Nagant a flop, but it was..

9mm Federal and the Charter Arms Pit Bull revolver for it.
This was a rimmed version of 9mm Parabellum. It came and went so fast that if you blinked you missed it.
However, it's one thing for a single manufacturer to try something and have it not catch on. For biggest flop, I would have to nominate the 17 HM2. It's a shame because the round has its merits, but the market just wasn't interested. Everybody got caught on this one.
Anschutz has dropped it. CZ has dropped it. Marlin has dropped it. Remington has dropped it. Browning has dropped it. Winchester has dropped it. Ruger has dropped it. Magnum Research has dropped it. TC has dropped it.
As far as I can tell only Savage still makes rifles for it.

IIRC, the Nagant is still in use in Russia. Pretty good longevity for a "flop."
"Good enough" isn't.

What about Voere ammunitions without a case?
Is it too ambitious or too naive to look for an honest politician? Or simply a useful one?

I always think of the Ruger Hawkeye (not the current rifle, but the single-shot handgun). Bill Ruger didn't miss very often, but that half-breed revolver/single shot was doomed from the start. That was the first one I thought of also. Almost bought one years ago just to own something different, but it was just too ugly. Probably rare and worth a bunch now.

Seems to me that when taking ammo and arms into account the company with the most flops has to be (drum roll)
REMINGTON

1964 Winchester bolt rifle. That one almost closed the company. Good thing they still had the lever actions to fall back on.

IMO they both come from Remginton. The 700 Electronix and the Rem M 710 that seems to have started the recent trend of cheap, junk rifles.
