I planned to take Friday off work because our CAS club has their EOT event and the Friday was the long range shoot.
A friend of mine offered to let me use his .45-70 Sharps for the event.
Wednesday evening we got a call from one of our bi clients wanting two jobs done before the weekend so they could put tenants in for the weekend, they manage a lot of holiday rentals and this is a long weekend here.
The only time we could fit them in was Friday so I missed out on throwing some big chunks of lead around.
My friend ended up winning the BP section of the long range shoot with the rifle we were going to share. He said if we were both shooting he'd probably have come in second and I'd have taken first. Even though it's his rifle he admits for some reason I can usually shoot it better than him on any given day.
