Is that a Fisher or a Martin? I can't tell. Never mind....I found this after I read further. I'm thinking that's a fisher, seems too big for a martin.

Dangit Dude that there's too purdy to take huntin Wanna bet? friend of mine took his new(1500 miles) chevy 4x4 on our trip to Montana one year.He drove it down one of my uncles ranch roads, and put a huge scratch down one side.I told him the damage was done,we might as well get some use out of it.About an hour later,he hooked his running board on a stump, and tore the entire thing off. We had to drive my truck the next year.

Dave
Also try some seated deeper. Those TSX's like a run to shoot really well. Some shoot great seated to the front pressure relief ring.

Thank you sir.
I do want to get some different wheels. I just can't get into these. I'll get 33" tires when I wear these down.

I'm at the top ring now at 3.180
You can still see a little bit of the ring at the neck but I'm pretty much there.
I guess I'm .046 off the lands, I could go another .006 and make it 50 like many suggest for the barnse.
Thanks.

For grizzly bill. Bill, I checed the specs now that I'm home. The engine is a Briggs 1450 Snow Series, 305cc. It's a bit of a beast at 242lbs. Ma said it didn't matter, because she's not going to be using it anyway. Tom, my 26" 8HP Toro weighs 236#. When both wheels are locked it can be a pain to turn.

When both wheels are locked it can be a pain to turn. I really have no reason to lock the wheels. The driveway is 50' by 35' so there is a lot of turning.

I already am the favorite neighbor. I think I'm the last in the 'hood to get a new thrower. Mostly because I'm too cheap. I was clearing my next door neighbor's most of the winter because he neglected to change oil in his thrower and she came apart during a heavy, wet, snow. The older one will go on craigslist. It does still work but it's wearing out.

I don't think another 0.004" is going to make that much of a difference really. Once your sure your load is what you want try changing the COAL by 0.010" increments in either/both directions.
You're already on the right track with the load workup.

I think I'll play around with powder charges in the 62.5 - 63 area. Settle in on something in that range, set the scope for the load and just go hunting. (It's a hunting rifle, I have to keep reminding myself of this) Even still... I think MOA should be achievable if it's going to be a "keeper" Even my model 88 in .308 with a 46 year old 3-9 vari x II strapped in a in weaver tip away mount will do an inch at 100 yds. If I can do it with that old lever action with it's horrid trigger and antique optics... Well it puts things into prospective a little, sets the bar for mildly accurized modern bolt actions with newer glass... ya know?

Given the reality that all ya need do is be able to reliably smack a paper plate size target at any hunting range, yez all sure like to split hairs

Well at least we may have FINALLY found a QB! I'll take that! How bout that Petterson ? Aint he something? we sure miss him! Welcome to the fire Mule1! Yes AP/AD is something else. I cannot even fathom where his stats would be if he had a decent run blocking O line and didn't have those years in Chili's "kick azz offense". Alright enough football talk. The younger bucks are chasin fellas! Had a smallish 8 point chase two small does across the road in front of me yesterday morning on my way to work. I slowed down for the does and almost turned Mr. Horny into road pizza. Missed him by a frog hair.
