How bout that Petterson ? Aint he something? we sure miss him!

Welcome to the fire Mule1!

Yes AP/AD is something else. I cannot even fathom where his stats would be if he had a decent run blocking O line and didn't have those years in Chili's "kick azz offense".

Alright enough football talk. The younger bucks are chasin fellas! Had a smallish 8 point chase two small does across the road in front of me yesterday morning on my way to work. I slowed down for the does and almost turned Mr. Horny into road pizza. Missed him by a frog hair.

Its getting close here too. I watched two little bucks spare all across my food plot. There was a doe present
and they looked likje a couple teenage boys trying to impress her- she wasent!

My buddy does, but rarely hunts with it anymore. I believe his was made in 1939.

sort of like a 308-lite would be a better description.

Wow, I just got done catching up on the thread. I have not been on here for a while and had like 45 pages to read

Been pretty busy. There has been some construction work going on around here. Jon had an old fish house that he converted into a nice inclosed deer stand. It was put up in the air last weekend. It was mainly built for the 4 & 7 year old girls, they are showing signs of future hunters.

I went to my first stag a couple weekends ago. I was 1 number off in winning an over under shotgun. frown Brad and his sister made out like bandits like they always do.

Went out to Brad and his brother's deer shack last weekend. We put a deck on it and finished the bunk beds and put some benches in there also.

Last weekend the friends I'm staying with had company from SD. He had bought a scope from a guy up here and wanted him to mount it on his rifle. Jon went to grab the scope(Leupold not sure the size, it is a big expensive one thats all I know) and it was gone. Here his 7 year old had taken it. She went to get it and then we hear this noise and look, our jaws just dropped. Here she was rolling it across the hardwood floor. Father was not very happy. shocked

Just a tad over a week left and I cannot decide on what I am going to use opening morning.

Handgun? .270? 30-30? They were all dead-on at the range today.

Decisions, decisions.....

It's on baby!!!

I can feel a bit of snow on the way. I got to work in a goofy mood so I rubbed the heck out of a door frame, made a scrape in the hall way, sniffed a few of the office does, which went better than expected. Chased some skinny punk intern out the door and down the road just for walking by my office...he didn't stand a chance against a rutty-smutty-schtinky sumbitch like me.

Grunt, grunt, grunt, snort.
