They really don't. I don't get it. We see the finished product, the goal, the light at the end. They see the stuff in the garage that takes up space.

Dave, I gotta ask, Does Mrs. ND even react anymore? Seems that by now she'd have just gotten tired of trying to figure out what you'll bring home next.

Hey guys. Please raise a glass to my friend Luke. He passed on this day in 2007 to cancer.

I'm heading to the basement to watch baseball, pack some gear, and split a 6-pack with Luke.

Havin a High Life with ya Tzone, heard many stories about Lucas, he sounded like a really great man. I know how it feels to lose a friend that close

shot a huge mulie doe this evening right at dark, hit looked good, let her sit a spell and started tracking, found half an arrow covered in rich red blood. went 150 yards and heard her get up. [bleep], lettin her lay til morning, she didn't go far I know. still I hate it when I don't have a fast recovery. went out past my new ground blind I set up and saw a huge buck with about 20 does standing within 30 yards of it. maybe I'll sit there tomorrow evening.

No, I really don't get a reaction anymore.

I need to step up my game.

But the actual news, the big news is a new toy that whitebear purchased tonight.

For us north border rednecks it's the ultimate machine....

He'll have to show you tomorrow.

You'll get her tomorrow. Hopefully you do before the coyotes do.

I'd like to see a close up with you and that big buck from your trail cam.

Good. I hope you can use some of it. It's not cherry stuff, but it still works.

finished putting on the thin carsiding under the stairs in the cellar. I still have a bunch to do, but I misjudged and now the lady-friend needs to make a trip to rapid city to make up for it. she said it will be done before I get home from bow hunting tomorrow, and she wants to get a start on the tile in the next room. I think I have this figured out smile

It has arrived. The I can't sleep, tossing and turning, I have gear to pack and knives to sharpen and bullets to find and slings to put on and clothes to wash, lists to make, socks to buy, truck to get ready, cookies to bake, soup to make, buns to buy, pine boughs to cut, Tink's to sniff, scrapes to make, rattle bagin', grunt calls to blow, can call to flip, it's 1am and the week before deer season.

Yep. It's here.
