Because he is in my back yard. That is not hunting. Legally. He is fair game, with a bow.

Yep. I;m good all the way around. The good thing about almost all at the fire, we can agree to disagree and still be sitting around the same fire cracking jokes, sippin a bit etc... and enjoying life.

Thats why its hard for me to judge, my first guess at the deer is 145. But you don't see enough of that deer. And when the body is so big than what you are used to, the antler size fools you.

Mass 38
Beams 44 plus
spread who knows but 16 inside for sure?
Tine lengths... 54

Thats just over 150, and if I missed all of them by an inch short.... well thats another 10 plus inches which ends up in the mid 160s....

Age 5.5, sagging belly, loose skin under jaw, roman nose with cartilage sunk in, heavy muscling over the eyes, and yet saggy skin around the eyes. Short appearance of legs.

Of course as noted not enough photos to tell for sure, but in our area of the world it would be a mature shooter, and at 5.5 may or may not increase any in size in the next 1-2 years.

I'd appreciate your return comments as I have no clue how close I am. On one of our deer, I'd be really tight.. a recent one scored at 135 on the hoof hit 135 and fractional change....

I'd bust his ass.

How long are the main beams on this deer?

I'm not the best at this but I used the deer on the wall by computer for comparison here. I gave the dude in the pic
Beams= 48
spread= 18
brows= 10 (pretty safe bet there)
g2's= 21
g3= 20
g4= 10
mass= 30 (also pretty safe bet I believe)

I come up with 157.
