OP TJAY Campfire Regular T Joined: Mar 2007 Posts: 1,402 Minnesota	I just picked up some 872 and 867. Has anyone used these powders in a 264 Winchester? If so any info you can share. Also could load it in 300 RUM or 7 Rem mag. The info with it says it is in the 8700 burn rate.

SOFMatchstaff Campfire Regular S Joined: Jul 2008 Posts: 613 Las Vegas	My experience so far shows the WC867 to be a bit faster than the 872. No data for a 264, but the 338RUM at 93grs doesnt show pressure issues with a 250 BTHP. I am gradually creeping up on a compressed charge, maybe another 2-3grs I havent started yet with the 872 in smaller cases, its mostly for the BMG. NRA Benefactor

HTDUCK Campfire Regular H Joined: Oct 2011 Posts: 889 Likes: 1 Parker, Tx	TJAY, I've had good success with WC872 in the 264 Win Mag. I've been using H870 data with both 130 and 140 grain bullets. Currently loading 78 grs of it with a 130 Nosler Accubond. My rifle wears a 28 inch 1/8 barrel. I'm getting 3420FPS at the muzzle. Your mind is your primary weapon. Never let it get rusty.
