I am going to get one for my 10-22 Carbine and am curious which one is the lightest and best quality ? I know Butler Creek and Choate make them and think Ramline does as well.
i have an AMT Lightning (10/.22 copy) in the Butler Creek stock. it is pretty decent. locks up solid, and isn't too heavy (although i haven't weighed it). i can not speak for the others because the BC is the only one i've used
Guns don't kill people, drivers with cell phones kill people.

Had several Butler Creek folders for the 10/22 and all locked up solid and stayed tight. Also had a Choate 10/22 folder that was well constructed and looked nice with the butt filled in with polymer. Choate also had a cover piece to enclose the top of the barrel. The pic shows the BC & Choate side by side for comparison. I'd probably go with the Butler Creek on design and quality of construction.
