Just perusing Alliants rifle loading data and noticed some pretty impressive velocites for this powder, most notably in the 220 Swift. They advertise a 55 Gr Vmax at 3920! That's the fastest I've ever seen published for a 55 gr pill out of a Swift. Also, the 308 has some pretty speedy velocities advertised as well.
Any of you folks played with this powder? If so, what type of results did you have? I'm thinking of picking up a pound for my 220.
Thanks in advance.

I tried it in my 7-08 a couple weeks ago. It gave me better velocity than any other powder I've tried, but I just couldn't get the groups as tight as H4895 delivers. Love the way MR2000 meters, though.

I never shot for accuracy, but for velocity 2000MR gave around 60+ fps more than any other powder in my 22" 308... 150's at 2,900, 165's at 2,800 and 180's at 2,700... pretty impressive.

I tried it in a 338 Fed. I was getting ~75 FPS less than their advertised load (same bullet & brass, 2" shorter barrel).

Thanks Brad. that's where I'll start.
I have a pile of the 165 partitions and 165 Fusions. I'm going to work something up with the 155 secnar, as well.

I have been working up loads for my remington sps varmint. It has has a 26" barrel and is bedded in a B&C Medadlist target stock. I have went through a pound of Varget with 150 grain sst's and 150 Nosler Accubonds. My average groups were .75 for five shots with the smallest at .62" at 100 yards. I recently picked up some Power Pro 2000 MR. This powder meters like water. The first 5 shot group went into .42". Three of those went into .37". Two were in the same hole. I realize that I need to do more testing to determine consistency but I will say I am encouraged. One thing I noticed was that my barrel seemed to stay cooler after the shot than it did when shooting varget. The load i used was: Win. Brass trimmed to 2.005, Fed. 210M primer, Nosler 150 Accubond seated to 2.810 COL to tip of bullet, 50.8 grains Power Pro 2000mr

I needed to add to the above. Sorry,i don't have a chrono. I plan to do more testing with the accubond 150s as well as Hornady 165 SSTs. There were no signs of pressure at 50.8 grains with the 150s. I'm guessing This load is pushing 3000fps in my rifle.
