Joe - it is more than a bit surprising that you would even click on a thread with a title like this wink

Mike....neither really....just gave the SAVAGE men a chance before I set a price and toss it on classifieds. I have no idea what a hunter grade rat goes for. I am not looking for a best price gets it time deal. I have 2 guys that PM'ed they want it. I will take the first price as he is first in line. The 2nd guy is next if the 1st decides against. The 2nd may have a better price, but that isn't the point so I guess it is not an auction.
As I told the 1st guy, I dont even have a clue what a MARBLES S-1 peep goes for...ebay says $80-$270...I am clueless. confused confused confused I DON"T want to part out a fully functioning rifle that will hunt. It isn't BROKE>>>>>>Just not pretty. I figured somebody here might want a hunter grade, rainy day, first rifle for a kid or new guy just starting out type deal...before I put it out to the rest of the fish in the classifieds. smile

Hopefully that makes sense...I guess I wasn't clear on my thought process. grin I PROBABLY should have just put a quick note here in Savage thread to go check out my Classified.

Jack, Marbles tang sights are worth about $100. Not the new ones, the old ones.

PM sent, please advise.

I really like lever action rifles. Sure it's romantic, but it's also very American.

I just wanted him to know, that I'm a bull too!
