OP trailgator Campfire Greenhorn T Joined: Oct 2007 Posts: 56 Missouri	Please bear with a very proud grandpa.... Logan is 10, and has been going hunting with me since he was 5. He's hunted himself the last 3 years, with no luck. He is in the stand at every opportunity. He is the most patient, philosophical hunter I know. He says, "It's really quiet and really exciting at the same time." Last year at sundown on the last day, after not even seeing a deer, and after I was saying "I really wish you could have gotten one.", he said, "It's OK poppop. I just think it's really fun being out here." Well, this year, on opening morning of youth season he got his much deserved reward. He shot this buck at 100 yards. I don't know who was happier, him or me, but he didn't stop smiling for 3 days. There is nothing more satisfying than hearing those types of words come from a young person; especially today with all the "I'm bored" exclaimations I hear from kids.
