OK, I will start this party, since I have the nicest, best one Colt Delta Elite 10mm, with With Wilson Combat parts installed inside and outm wherever they made an upgrade part for it. Latest was the flat, black anodized, checkered mainspring housing. Feels better in my meaty hand and I think it looks better as well. Holster, which I also like a LOT, was made for me by our own Greg in Tennesee. This is, I think, my third holster from him and all have been first rate and very reasonably priced to say the least. Fits my hand pretty well, although even this full length grip has my fingers a little squeezed. Probably helps with ocntrol to have a tight fit there, but I cannot use a shorter grip on a 1911 very well at all, no matter how easy it is to conceal. Did I mention that I REALLY LIKE my Delta elite? Hope ya'll like it too, and lets indeed keep this thread going for a while. MARK

Stanimal! You beat me to the punch RE first post on the thread! You dirty rat, you..... REALLY like that Fusion 10mm. A pretty serious shootin iron, that one. What ammo do youlike in it? I am still experimenting with 10mm ammo, carrying 175GR Silvertips in it for daily carry but have on hand some 200gr Hornaday's for backwoods carry.

TexnCal. Really nice 1911's there as well. And TWO 10mm's! That Colt Combat Delta Elite is DA BOMB! I am a pauper in comparison.... I am slowly upgrading my DE to Combat level of accoutrements as I can. I will ask you the same question, what 10mm ammo are you liking these days?

Thanks - your DE is no slouch either - sweet setup!
As to ammo: I also like the 175 Silvertips. In addition I run quite a bit of CCI 200 gr for fun, 180 lead handloads, and other 180 handloads with XTP / Speer bullets. It's not picky and I don't use it on targets large enough for that to matter a lot. I have quite a bit of Unique on hand so I've used it a good deal. A bit dirty, but functional.

Pre-Series 70 Colt Government Model, early 1960s. My favorite 1911, because no bells and whistles. Just a great trigger, super reliable, and accurate.
