Been using a 1.5-6X42 Monarch Gold Nikon for several years on my 260 Rem.
I know the Swaro is much better quality , But I am looking for clearer views in daylight and late evening shots
I was wondering how much differance in the 2,
I have an IOR on 1 of my other rifles and it shines .
Will I see the same differance over the Nikon with the Swarovski
Thanks Steve Eggers

I cannot give you an exact comparison opinion, but, I can come close.

I have 1.5-6x42 in Swaro, Zeiss, S & B and Meopta. Those scopes are all more or less the same. I think of the lot I prefer the S & B and like the Swaro the least. That's probably mostly due to reticles though.

I have a 2.5-10x50 Nikon Monarch Gold with a first focal plane reticle so it's close. I find that it is about as bright, but it is more contrasty and has a little less definition that the others. I would suggest you have a look at the Meopta Artemis 1.5-6x42. I like mine better than the swaro and it's a lot cheaper. There is also a S & B on the classifieds here. I think the guy wants $1150 for it which is not to bad for one of them.
