For many years a 624 has been a fairly constant companion. When it was too large, several smaller guns have stood in. One, a Walther PPK/s has been in use for about 30 years. It preceeded the 624 by a couple of years.
A Beretta has been known to be found in my jean pocket when wearing only them and a tight tee shirt. A 1911 has also been a companion. I use a OWB holster a friend made for it. I can barely tolerate the Walther or Beretta in an IWB holster. I'm pretty lean.
When I first beheld a LCR, I thought yuck. Now I have been given one and I am changing my mind.
It's more than the Walther or Beretta, less than the 624 or the 1911's. I'm thinking of carrying it. Do any of you have experience with one that you would care to relate? Also, any recs on an OWB holster? It's basically a J frame sized handgun. I've been thinking Simply Rugged pancake.

I am told by my dealer that i bought the first one in the state of louisiana when they came out (probably BS). Love the gun, the trigger and the way it handles +P loads. Added the laser grip and when it became available i also installed the big dot front sight. It has it's downfalls though-beyond about 7 yards there's about a 50/50 chance i'm not hitting much of anything and it aggravates the piss out of me. I get great accuracy with my G27 out to 30-35 yes without any trouble, can use my S&W bodyguard 380 out to 15 or so with what i consider to be acceptable accuracy but the LCR gives me fits. I haven't given up on it and still take it to the range every time i go. In the end it may end up as the designated "truck" gun. Can't help with an OWB. I have a UBG, super tuck and a remora for IWB use and 9 times out of 10 it's the remora that gets used.

Thanks for the reply. I guess I'll just have to give it a try.

I bought my wife one and she hated it, couldn't hit with it so now its mine. She said, "I'll keep my Glock 19" Smart girl.
I bought a Desantis Nemesis for it and I've found it rides perfectly in the cargo pocket of 5.11 pants. With a laser this is a good anti-carjacking setup.
