One of my Fingers has more brain power than your entire family. Name that finger. I think you know which one.

Thats funny, I picked up a M7 SS 7 SAUM this fall and I just bought a takeoff CDL for it as well ....such a sweet handling little rig! Speed bumps are for queers so they don't burn their d**ks off in their boyfriend. Bed and float that sum beetch!
If I were smart enough, which apparently I'm not

Buddy took his out and free floated and bedded a .270 SPS.
Most everyone said the stock was too flimsy and it wouldn't help.
That was before he shot .5" groups with it. That gun is a tack driver now.

Yaaaaaa right...I read a Rifle Magazine article once, and the writer said to leave the speed bump and shoot it...waste 10 rounds realizing it doesnt shoot for [bleep], then jam a business card in there....shoot 10 more....realize it still dont shoot....put TWO cards in there...still dont shoot? Ok then he said you should consider floating....but don't waste no monies on bedding...sometimes that ain't needed. Shoot the floated pipe...still dont shoot? Ok, now bed it! See how much time and money that saves?? Also, try 3-5 different types of ammo in it...mebbe the gun just dont like my trusty old handloads

Speed bumps are for queers so they don't burn their d**ks off in their boyfriend. Bed and float that sum beetch! The part about the queers is a bit over my head (likely a good thing ), but I will agree that the rifle does handle nicely. It goes 6lbs 12oz before optics and while wearing the j-lock, which has to go. It should be very quick to stab through the window of a box blind and 120 TTSX's at 3350fps should simplify hitting at reasonable ranges. Right now, I'm leaning toward beddding/floating, as I have this fear in the back of my mind concerning walnut and our Louisiana humidity. Karnis is often the voice of reason around here...
Now with even more aplomb

If it shoots good with it, don't take it out.

i have a 700 sps 300wsm that i bedded in an hs precision stock with the aluminum bedding block. it was not very consistant. 1-3"groups. i went back and bedded a small "pressure point" approximately where the original would have been on the factory stock and now all is better usually 3/8"-1 1/4" now.

The part about the queers is a bit over my head (likely a good thing ) Speedbumps= hemoroids in a queers rump (so i've been told) Man the jokes you hear when you have to share a lunch room with Iron Workers...

My 700 Mtn Guide 708 is completely stock, with speed bumps and not bedded. Shoots 1 MOA with 120 TSX and NBT all day long. Not inclined to mess with it, just pick it up and go forth and fill an ark...

I still do. Haven't found many reasons not to.

I personally have never had a rifle that shot worse free floated and most have shot better. I free float them all. I don't know why Remington puts the Speedbump in anyway.
Only a fool would sell an accurate .30-06

I ran a Win70 FWT in an HS stock with speedbumps for about a decade. It never changed zero in that entire time, so I left it alone.
