Very nice. The old 300 I-6 was a great engine. You could pull stumps with one if you had the right gearing.

I loved that 3 hunert 6. I had 3 of them and they were all awesome. Heck, if it goes mid 20s, you could take that sucker to work every day! Anybody who saw you park that thing in the parking lot would give you a wide berth all day.

So 750 hours....if a truck averaged what, 30 miles per hour? 40? That would mean that motor has the equivalent of 25-30,000 miles. Barely broke in.

If you cantilevered a little you could make it a 12 man cab. just sayin'. grin

Say Pam, what is it that you have your eye one these days?

What I have a tough time believing is that all this time, I scrimped and saved and begged to become a three snowmobile family. Yet now I'm coming to understand that there are families out there with multiple Bombardiers and occasionally a Tucker for their own personal travel. This in new to me. We have apparently held ourselves back from our full potential.

I'll talk to Mrs. 4 about this immediately. I have no idea what to expect, but with you'alls example I'm confident this will go down like honey-dew-vine water.

4,

I think from experience, you're better off to buy it, then begin the talks. grin

I made it home for at least 1min 30 sec before I got chewed out. That is up from yesterday. Things are looking up.

Anyone notice Pam hasn't said a word, to us anyway. Probably still in a state of shock.

The white bus on tracks with the black zebra stripes...Sell the sleds and load the wife and kids up grin it would take a mighty big stick to beat that!!!

Grandpa had a Tucker for 10+ years, we tried every kind of torture imaginable and it never wavered. I know this is a Bomb-bar-de-ay but close to the same. What's really cool is how easily medium sized pines snap off in below zero weather!!

I like how the caption below the pic says "Full cab used as emergency rescue vehicle etc."

I wonder if they had party bus road trips across a big azz lake to an igloo bar out on the ice in mind when they added "etc."

grin

Not only will I not post any pictures of my new mini-van, but I will put the man-card into the gun safe for a significant amount of time. At least until the jealousy subsides to tolerable amounts.

The minivan does seat 8 though.....

Or 3 dressed out deer. grin That is the only way you can get your card back from the safe. laugh

My goofy neighbor at our old place, liked to brag about everything, and his stuff was always the best, was trying to brag up his mini van. a Honda Oddyssey. Had leather, hide-a-seats, two video screens, paid over $40K he says. "Yep, it's still a mini-van", I told him. It got pretty quiet in the garage there for a second. grin

They do have their uses. That is all my FIL will drive, and we have put 3 deer in the back of one before so I know it can be done.

Ok, I'm breaking my silence to tell all of you a funny story that happened today. I've often told Dave that he is causing his own problems by letting Weezie drive Carlos..aka the 77 Ford. Today is no different. grin

The text message went kinda like this:

Weezie: Hahahaha I just got asked to go eat dinner by a boy. All because of Carlos. Ha

Me: Whose the boy?

Weezie: An Erickson boy. Hahah I said i was busy.

Me: Was he cute?

Weezie: Yes. He stopped me on the road, just like his dad did this past summer to talk to me about Carlos.

Me: OMG that is funny!!

Only in small town USA. Funny, second time this week that Carlos has caused problems for Weezie. grin

Resume silence.
