If you were buying a Redding Bushing Neck Sizing Die , does the Micrometer Top buy you anything substantial over the Standard Top ?

Not really. They are nice in a seating die if you load more than one bullet, but on a neck sizing die,I would say no.I have a few competition sets that come with the mic on both dies,it was just easier to order the set than to piece together a die set. They(Redding)are nice dies. Lightman

No, it's the seating die that shines with the micrometer adjustment. But as lightman said, it's easier to just buy the Competition set and get it as a package.

Buying individual dies would likely be more expensive. I did buy an additional full size S-bushing die for .223 to use in addition to the Comp set. I'd do a search at www.grafs.com
