The best part is that when the Alum do games like this, we get beer in the locker room between periods and after the game.
When asked about it once, one of the old North Stars said: "Son, hockey without beer is like sex without a woman, you can do it, but it ain't right."
Top-10 quote IMO
If anyone goes, I'm the taller goalie with the buzzed head who plays the 2nd half of the game for the NHL team.

Hey now Tzone, I have my Man Card firmly entrenched in my wallet! Hunting this late in the season solidifies it for a guy, when the girly-men are off working on trucks and stuff in heated shops. Gonna try and get out today, one last time. We got an inch or two of snow and it should be good. Oh, and since I can't "tell" anyone about this, I am gonna "type" it....if anyone alerts my wife in any manner, I am a dead man as I was sworn to secrecy.....but.... Yesterday she was touching up some spots with a half a gallon of paint in the living room. As she stepped off the stool, she stepped on one of the boys toys...that had wheels...and ass over teakettle she went. The paint was all over about 5 toys, 2 couches, 2 yards of carpet and 10 sq feet of wood floor. After both of us frantically scrubbing for an hour or so, you cannot find where it happened. whew. We can laugh about it now. Well I can laugh about it now. She hasnt found the humor in it yet.

I just love stepping on toys.
Those old solid plastic spiny backed dinosaurs are probably the best thing to step on in the middle of the night in the dark.

Legos and jacks rank right up there as well as some of the best steppin on toys. Thank goodness most kids now days don't know what jacks are.

We have a good crop of pine needles right now from the Christmas tree. Ultra sharp little daggers that love to find my feet. Although they are not toys, they get quite the instant reaction.

That sounds like every hockey game I played in from 1992-current.

The weasel got her mustang back from the body shop tonight. She can't do much driving though because she had a little repair surgery done to her wrist the other day. Damage from her wreck of the 65 stang over a year ago.
She'll be in a high cast for a while to immobilize the repaired area.

Stepen on toys. That brings back some memories.
Heal quick Weezy.
Happy New Year to all of you. I'm starting a list of what I need for the coming soft water fishing season.
