Those ol' blanks were loaded with great wide-area entertainment in mind. Spanky'd undoubtedly opt for the ocean-going manifestation, but I like your desert flavor better by far!

They are marked Black Powder "10 Gauge 10 Drams" That's starting to sound like a bit of fun!  There was some nut down river from me last night casting a spell over others punctuating the night. They's finish a volley of pops and fizzles and he'd set off....what I don't know, but it made the neighborhood tremble. Deep bass 'WHOOOOOM!' with a hint of blast over pressure that caressed the face and hair in passsing. He was about 1/3 mile downstream as far as I can tell. Mebbe the Monitor, or Merrimac? Hope all the windows down that way survived, he touched it off maybe a dozen times. Duuno who but I'd guess he's on our side.......I hope.

("Kenny's a g-g-g-goddam [bleep]!") I was visiting home for Christmas this year, and had to fix something on my car. It was 1/2 in the garage and 1/2 out. A bunch of kids were playing at the neighbor's place. One of them knew more profanities than I do. My mom works at the elementary school, so I had her ID the culprit. My favorite, "I'm going to piss in your face until your eyes turn yellow."
