Thanks safariman
9.3x62 is what I was thinking when I bought it.
That would be awesome as well but thinking a rebarrel would be in order. Specify same shank and then measure the stock across the flats and make sure there's enough room to inlet. If you go 9.3x62 list the specs and all, I'm thinking my .270 might have to be converted.

I'd do a LA 257 Rob to go with the 270. I'd cut both to 23".

If I read your post right--I'd put the best looking piece of wood on the best shooting barreled action as the keeper and give someone a deal on the leftover. Have done that w/Kimbers.
Personally, I need some meaningless differentiation to own near calibers, so I had my 06 AIed for 200-220g bullets and shoot 120-140 out of the 280....

I considered that, but all 3 stocks are nice, and there isn't one I really want to give up. Personally, I need some meaningless differentiation to own near calibers, so I had my 06 AIed for 200-220g bullets and shoot 120-140 out of the 280.... You and I think a lot alike. Therefore, the consideration given to the 30 Gibbs. _
