The Fords coming along right along Tom. Dads arm must be doing ok. He is doing better. He can't lift his arm much past his mid section. He can run the DA but can't hand sand (so he says  ) and couldn't use the grinder. The grinder is a heavy beast that has to weigh about pounds. It seemed like 50 by the time I was done.

Happy New Year, everyone. We have a good heavy snow falling now. There will be a bunch of snowmen tomorrow in this neighborhood. we only got maybe an inch out of the deal.happy new year.

Happy New Year everyone! just starting to snow here now. I had 11 days off. It is down to 2. How does that happen???
Last day of rooster hunting, but I aint agoing.
Anybody here a big coyote hunter? I got a place where I know 2 hang out, but I dont know much about it. It is a big cattail swamp with a hill on one side. Is that a good place to set up? On the hill that overlooks the swamp?

Sounds like a good place to start Bman. Keep the wind in mind however and blend in to your surroundings.
Also remember, if you're calling, they will almost always try to come in down wind.

We had a combination of freezing rain and snow over night. About a 1/4 inch of frozen slush this morning. Temps been dropping all day and the wind is really blowing.
The Xmas tree came down and is stored away for another year.

We pulled the tree down this morning after my Dad and step-mom left. Wind is really whipping. It's a good day to sit on the computer and look for a new boat. I even found a few that have jumped to the top of the list.

There are quite a few that I like. If I go new there are 3. Lund Classic, Alumacraft Classic, and a Crestliner Fish Hawk.
The two used ones that I really like are both Lund Pro-V's. One with Yamaha motors and the other with a Merc main motor and a Yamaha kicker.
I'm kinda stuck until I get final payment on my rig at the end of the month.

The Crestliner Fish Hawk offer more in the way of features than the other 2 models that you listed.
There's a boat show over your way in January that you should check out.

There is a long time to look at boats before I can use one, so I'll keep looking. Today is my last day off. I've had 11 days off and believe it or not, I'm ready to go back to work.

Minus 1 here this AM. First below zero day of the season for us. We've usually seen at least 10 days below zero by now. Ground is barely covered with snow. We could see 40* by Friday?

Yep Bill, hardly looks like this thread has any staying power! I think everybody is resigned to the fact that hunting season is over and now we have the long stretch of calendar until spring greenup.
