Going to scope my 629 for spring bear. How are you guys carrying yours?

I know I'll need to order soon if I pony up for leather, but would like to get away with nylon for awhile if it's an option. I'm open to suggestions...

Some years ago I ran into these guys at a gun show in Denver. Now I have a Bandito belt and scoped holster for my .44 Mag Ruger Super Redhawk and an unscoped holster for my .357 Mag Ruger Blackhawk.

The weight of the handguns virtually disappears and the holster does not interfere with my rifle carry since I mostly carry on my right shoulder. (Not that I carry both handgun and rifle much any more...)

I use an older Bianchi Ranger. The new version seems to have changed somewhat. I like the holster and prefer nylon in a bandoleer. The holster can be worn over the chest or slid down under the arm. A flap can be purchased separately.

Bought one of these this last season and it worked excellent. Bought a second one for open sighted 6" guns...

And for the money it will get you by until you find what you want.

Watch the video at the bottom...

I have a Taurus Tracker as a general purpose sidearm. Wanting to setup the 629 as a handgun hunting rig. I'm looking for a shoulder holster that is comfy with a pack as I put some miles on when afield and won't wear something bulky.

Bandolera for sure...You won't even notice it's there.
