My cabin is just north of you on Big Pine. Good walleye fishing so far up there.

Did a lot of ice fishing on Big Pine. Had the fish house out there for like 8 winters.

It has been a while since I posted. Have not been on the computer much lately.

We are taking a limo bus to Moondance Jam in Walker to see Kid Rock in July. Will be a great time. We will have the bus for 10 hours. Will be nice that nobody will have to drive.

Also been planning WE Fest. That is a ways off too (August) but gotta do something to get us through the winter (or lack there of).

It is 28 degrees here this morning. The wind blew an ungodly velocity all night bringing in a cold front. While you far north guys think 28 ain't bad,it's pretty damn cold for here.At least I get to wear my new Cabela's down jacket today.
Muffy you have been missed.

Hey Stan,

It was 11* when I left the house this morning. grin I like 28* and think with no wind, it's nearly a perfect winter time temp.

Muffster,

Keep sticking your head in. We missed you.

This I know: Tampa is warmer than Minnesota!
This I also know: I like Minnesota better!

Went for a couple of quick runs on the beach this week. Ate good food, had good meetings. Next up San Diego (for work)! I flew out of Fargo and I tell ya, that was one cooooold truck when I got in it. The radio knob even turned hard it was so cold! eek

-6 here this morning.

40s and 50s Ryan? Gee whiz, you can wear shorts in that weather! But please spare the other folks and leave your Speedo and Pickle Sling at home!

Nice. My brother in-law broke the 30-inch walleye barrier on Big Pine a few years ago. It's above the fireplace at the cabin now. smile

I got two 30+ in one day in an FLW Tournament. One 30 1/2" and one 31 1/2"r. We couldn't keep either one of them. We got 2nd place. smile That is how I got my first boat.

Of course that was on Green Bay where the get bigger than that. But man was that a fun day.

Wow, that would be sweet. I can't wait for opener this year. I finally told the guys that I am NOT playing the Walleye Chop hockey tourney, and it shouldn't be too hard to replace a goalie of my vintage so no whining.
