I wish you both well and luck in your fights.

My 835 does really well with the Indian Creek choke and 3" Winchester #5, 2 oz turkey loads.

I like 3" Federal #4 or #5 and they have plenty of knock down for me in my 835. I'm not sure on my choke I will have to check.

Good luck to both of you

Hard to go wrong with a Pure Gold .670 and a box of Hevi-13 #7's in 3" or 3.5".

The Pure Gold will also throw a great pattern with Winchester HV #6 lead.

the strut stopper extreme in 670 with the hevi 13 #6 2.25 oz load
was the one i used prior to going rhino and nitro combo
it threw 220-230 pelletcounts into 10 at 40

im hooking up my new pawn shop mossy with the strut stopper and the mag blend 3.5 shells
it should work well from what i have heard people say about the mag blend and from what i know about the strut stopper extreme it should be a 290-310 count in 10 at 40 combo at least

i wish slumlord would shoot a few rounds of mag blend thru his mossy to see what they do in that combo for a baseline
if i remember rigth i told him where to get strut stopper extreme a couple of years back for his mossy
they run under 40 bucks
45ish with tax.....

With 3" lead shot, the 835's turkey extra full choke patterns as well as any of several borrowed after market chokes I have tried. That's the one I use.

835 with Stardot .676
W-W 3 1/2" 2oz #5

This has been a turkey killing machine. I accidently shot one last year at 73 yards (he was over a rise in the field and looked much closer). It poll axed him. Most of my shots are between 35 and 50 yards and at these distances it works great. reflex264
