I thought the pellets were the way to go being simple and easy to use. Then I started reading about BlackHorn 209 and how you could adjust the load for your particular rifle and bullet combination to achieve the best accuracy, something you can't do with pellets. So I tried BlackHorn and I can tell you I will never go back to anything else.

In both my Bone Collector and son's Impact 1/8" is the perfect fit. I hold the bit with my Leatherman and twist the Breech plug as twisting the bit by hand would be hard.

You need an 1/8" metric drill bit. grin

Custom fit it. Chuck the 1/8" bit in your drill and use a stone to take a little off the diameter.

If you're using the W209 primers then yes, it will feel like the 1/8" bit is to large. The carbon from the w209 is extremely hard to cut into at first.

Soak the plug in warm soapy water and give it a few minutes, then run the drill bit down the flash channel.
