Thought I'd maybe get some info here. Will hopefully be deer and elk hunting the first week in November with a lake and streams in the area.
Is this too late to harass some trout should time and circumstances allow? Thanks.

Are you wondering if the water will be frozen or if the trout will still be hitting flies? What part of the state will you be in?

I realize that the water may be frozen depending on conditions but if not? Will be just north of White Sulphur springs in the Little Belts.

It can't hurt to bring it, you just may have to use nymphs instead of dry flies. The fish will still be feeding if you can get it to them.

Bambi- good heads-up on the regs. I checked the regs and the standard fishing season on streams and rivers in the Central District is the third Saturday in May through November 30. Subject to exceptions, of course.

goodnews- just a WAG, but would you be fishing Tenderfoot or Sheep Cr? Neither of those are listed as exceptions so the standard fishing season applies.

Goodnews, If you're in White Sulpher Springs and see a Chevy Silverado with Florida tags say hi. I'll be hunting the Big Belts just west of town at the same time.

whttail--

Honestly, I have no idea but I will have my regs with me. Couldn't find them the other day.

Lefty-

I'll do that; have a safe and good hunt. Black Avalanche with IA. plates pulling a small trailer here so don't be shy.
