Norm I have a model A Saddle Gun in 32-40
22" barrel serial No. 1109XX ca. 1910-1911 Last patent date of 1899. Blade front, missing rear sight. Has an "M.S.A. Co" (Marbles?) peep on the tang.

You mean an 1899F saddle ring carbine? Or an 1899A Short Rifle (SR)? I presume you mean the SR.

22 inch barrel so it would be an 1899 A SR (Short Rifle) Tang sight variation marked MSA is quite scarce. Does it have just the 1903 patent date? (not 1903 and 1905) It was made by Marble Sporting Axe before they started calling them selves Marbles for short. Recently I found an 1899 303 SR with a rear folding sight (not a tang sight) with MSA marking. Great caliber to find as well. Thanks for posting data. BillR

Wish you were in Canada. You should letter them, just add the $25 to the price of the gun, it's a good sales feature.
