my dog blackjack is half border collie and half fiest mix


he goes for blood trying to become alpha dog when him and cookie get into it
cookie just uses his weight and size to dominate blackjack
but blackjack is all over him like a leopard on a elephant at times


blackjack will growl at anyone for no reason other than to just hear himself growl
friggin growl while you give him snacks
friggin growl while you rub his belly then bark at you when you stop like a why did you stop type of bark



their has to be something in the water in pulaski where we got him

I love the Breed myself. I do not like most Pit Bull owners though. The owner of a good Pit Bull is often among the best of all dog owners. That is the kind of owner that all dogs deserve. Ours was the perect family dog, and we miss him terribly. I miss the days when we had our Pit Bull and our Boykin. They along with our turbo charged and deaf cat were our "three stooges".

You read about breeds like spaniels, labs, shepherds attacking people all the time................

thats funny every Rott I have been around has been the biggest dumbest gentlest dog ever. One of the contractors i use has a Rott that will not harm a fly, every thing is his friend, but he is kind of rude and will raid the "cookie drawer" every chance he gets

I agree felony charges to the owners of a dog that mauls someone. Regardless of the breed.

yep. it's far better to charge owners of vicious dogs with felony charges than outlawing a particlar breed. i'd like to include wolves with that scenario if ok with you.

insurance companies insure various individuals who own cars. probably insurance companies would be agreeable to insuring dogs of various species who have a record of biting people??

My GSP does too, plus the neighborhood kids and all the other people's pets.

The problem I have with pit bulls is that while they may generally be okay as a breed in regard to temperament, when they do get out of control they are more likely to do serious damage due to their strength and tenacity.

Another baby killed by one in Houston last weekend.

There is a thirteen year old girl in our church that survived an attack from one of these nice, friendly, sweet, doggies. The disfiguring is horrendous. It is a LITTLE difficult for me to justify their existence and I seriously question the intelligence of those who do.
