My son has suggested this concoction. Both he and my Daughter have been fixing it for some time, and claim that it keeps them energized.

Prepare, and put into the blender

Two bananas, chopped
5 Strawberries
3 dates, (cut and soaked in water for 10 min)
1 Teaspoon organic Maca
3 Tablespoons Chia seeds
1 Tablespoon crushed Flax seed
large handful of fresh Spinach
large handful of fresh Swiss Chard
1 Tablespoon Honey
10 water
6 ounces Coconut Water

Puree until smooth. Let sit for 15 min, then enjoy.

........ I made a batch this morning. I was very pleased, and surprised by the great taste.

I'm glad it's tasty as the color is unappetizing to me.

I have taken to making this without the chia seeds. They tend to over thicken the product.
You can vary the fruit used, and use just Spinach also. The recipe is more of an idea, than something set in stone.
The idea is to get more healthy stuff in 'ya.

Let me guess, the function of the Maca is to make the drink stiffer... wink

jpb, in my case, the maca is to help with my over all energy level. After the heart attack, I have not had all that much energy. I find that the Maca does help.
So far as it's analogy to the Big V, I won't comment. laugh
