Have a CZ Scout on order and will be putting a Leupold 4X rimfire scope on it.
Anyone know if the grooved reciver is the same as american 22's ? I have a set of Leupold rings that I had on a 94-22 and am wondering if they will fit?
If not, anyone know if the top of the reciver is drilled and tapped for a Leupold base? (have spare standard rings also) Thanks! Virgil B.

The rail on CZ scouts is 11mm (around 7/16"), most times 3/8" rings will work, but they're not as well aligned as true 11mm rings would be...risks ring marks, tedious sight-in, and bump movement.
I don't know about D&T dimensions, check over at Rimfire Central and do a search for scout rings in their CZ/Brno forum, lotsa posts.

The Warne 7.3/.22 series steel rings (part #722 M) have worked great on my CZ. I suspect the medium height rings would work fine on most CZs, but it will depend on the outside diameter of the scope's ocular bell. Here's the link to the rings: http://warnescopemount.com/product/246/

I put BKL rings on my wifes CZ 452. They are not the prettiest rings but they will fit either size of ring mounting groove that CZ's have.
They are not common enough that they are carried in most sporting goods stores but they can be ordered direct from BKL, and I seem to recall that Midway has them also - but my memory is faulty sometimes.

I'm being told that the CZ Scout has a different dovetail (11 MM) than the CZ 452.(3/8")
Checked at my local gunshop yesterday, and they have Leupold 11 MM rings in stock.
This sounds like a good route to go for me. Have them mount the rings and scope and bore sight, then off to my range and sight in...(GRIN!)

Virgil,
The CZ Scout is a model 452. Only a few models of the 452 have 3/8" grooves===> All of the Americans and none of the Scouts.
