Over 24" thick, yes we spent the night. Me, tommy boy, rws and two of his friends. Catching some this morning.

Fishing actually slowed down quite a bit for us.
I cleaned 13 fish for saturday.

yesterday was really slow dave. we got a big burbot, 4 perch and a couple walleyes. had some furnace issues over the night saturday. stayed up all night to play cards and have snowshoe grog, we did have fun out there. got the furnace fixed last night, hopefully no more sleepeless nights out there.

Fishing been slow around here too.
Replaced the battery in my Edge this morning. Only got 2 1/2 years out of it.

I was fishing with the boy and my step-dad at thier cabin in Solon Springs, WI this weekend. It was slow to say the least. Mini-man caught the only fish... a 18" northern on a jigging spoon and a sucker. I'll try to remember to post a pic when I get home tonight.

This is the exact time of year that northern fishing goes down hill because they are losing their teeth and their gums are sore. Funny thing that I have experinced over the years though is that some do and some dont?

Obviously they still eat but I'm assuming that it is not as much. Do they put the feed bag on in a couple weeks when they start to grow back? That is a totally loaded question, btw, I'm heading back up in a few weeks.

I think I read it is a myth that they lose their teeth....? But it was awhile ago that I read that.

After some serious research (about 6 minutes) it is true northern lose thier teeth. However, it isn't always in the summer or in the winter. It is different times through out the year.
