Do you have a preference one way or the other? Why?

It shouldn't matter. Weatherby contracts the production of brass to Norma. It should be EXACTLY the same brass except of course it might be subject to different lots so there could be ever so minor diffs.

Just because a company contracts with another that make the same product does not mean the 2 products are the same. One could have and set a higher standard then the other, in this cse Weatherby could say" I want this tollaerance or that tollarence which maybe different then Normas. Or I want this amount of brass at this price, and Norma may use a inferior brass then theirs.
Thanks, Bob Too many calibers and not enough time for the working man to hunt with them all.

I have only used the Weatherby headstamped Norma brass in mine. I have been pleased with it, bought 100 pcs, but I think I'm only on my second firing, not much of a sample. I have not tried any of the Nosler brass in any cartridge. I have a shooting buddy that picked some up in 308 Win, and was very impressed with it's quality and consistency.

In the real world of manufacturing big lots I would agree with you. But I'll stick with my original idea that what little 257 wby nosler would buy from norma they are doing NOTHING out of the ordinary for them....perhaps they would pick closer wt ranges but then norma brass is already really good for that.
