Looking for loads other then the standard loads with 200 grain bullets. You know cast bullet loads, pistol, 150 core-lokt. Will be a contender so oal concerns and pointed bullet fears are unwarranted.

I'm shooting the 200 gr Hornady round nose in my 12" 35 Rem contender. I know it's not the load you're looking for, but it's been very accurate for me. I seat them long, to just off the lands in my factory barrel. Mine shot the green/yellow factory Rem ammo poorly, fwiw.

Some guys like the discontinued Hornady 180 gr ssp's in theirs. I have a box of those, but have yet to try them. Also I've heard far too many good stories about the new Hornady flex tip bullet to not believe there's something to that one. I just haven't tried any myself. I hate to mess with something that's not broken.
