All:
I was at a gun show this last weekend and had two of these offered to me for a total of $650 for the both of them, and I think I could have probably gotten them for $600. One was in 300 Win Mag in the deluxe version and the other was standard in 7mm Rem Mag. Both mint. Didnt know a whole lot about them. They looked nice, but I passed. Any thoughts on these rifles??

I had one in 308, and, like a fool, I sold it..nice mauser action and a beautiful stock. It shot very well. You may have missed out on this one IMO.

Very good actions, barrels were mostly Ok, depending on the individual barrel.
Could make a very nice rifle coupled to a nice synthetic stock of your preference.
Waaaaaay cheaper than doing equivalent work on a military Mauser of some sort.

The Mark X rifles are made by Zastava in Serbia, known as Yugoslavia during the Whitworth years. Interarms, the US importer, had an office in England. Whitworths may have been worked on in England, but they were built by Zastava.
The one in the picture is very nice. I assume it's a custom job of some sort.
