Thanks guys, I guess I should have posted that as well. All were shot with a Canon 40D. The spider was with a Canon 100mm Macro f.2.8 IS/L. The Birds with a Canon 400mm f/5.6L and the river was was with a Canon 10-22mm, mounted on a tripod sitting in the riverbed smile

Nice, sharp and colorful. I like the scissortail on the barbed wire. It has been a few decades since I have lived in Mathis seen a green jay and mexican eagle.

I love how when you click on the original link of the spider and then click on the picture, the spider sort of jumps. Cool.
